Optimum Talent, a leading provider of human resources consulting services, announced today the appointment of Barrie Carlyle to the position of Senior Vice President Client Solutions and Jocelyn Bérard to the position of Senior Vice President & National Practice Leader, Organizational Psychology. Jocelyn will also be assuming the role of Regional Practice Leader, Coaching for the region. Barrie will be responsible for leading all business development and establishing and maintaining positive client relationships in the region, whereas Jocelyn will take on the Organizational Psychology growth plan, while developing the level of quality that sets the firm apart in its field, by maintaining a team of proficient professionals that meet the needs of its clients.

Barrie Carlyle holds more than 20 years of experience in human capital consulting, recruiting, entrepreneurial leadership and employment law. Co-founder of the Talent Advisory Group, where he was responsible for leading all business development, financial operations and strategic planning for the organization, he also worked at a leading human resources consulting firm, where he held the position of Director of Operations, Recruitment Solutions, building and managing their recruitment outsourcing practice. Barrie holds a Bachelor of Laws, LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School and a Graduate Diploma in Management from Athabasca University and is pursuing his MBA studies.
Jocelyn Bérard has extensive Canadian and international experience in the areas of human resources and business management in Europe, North America, the Middle East and Asia, in a variety of industries such as telecommunications, auto manufacturing, health care, retail, aerospace and banking. His interventions focus on talent management, especially in the area of leadership assessment and development, performance management, succession management and selection best practices. Fluently bilingual in French and English, Jocelyn holds undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Human Resources, a Master Degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and an Executive MBA
