Optimum Talent, Canada’s largest privately-owned integrated talent management firm, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jocelyn Bérard as President for the Central Region.
For the past five months, Jocelyn has been acting as Interim President. Despite stepping into the role amidst a global pandemic, he has successfully proven his ability to lead one of Optimum Talent’s largest regions and position it for growth.

Jocelyn Bérard joined Optimum Talent in March 2015 as Senior Vice President in our Leadership, Assessment and Development practice. Originally from Quebec, he has worked across the globe, specializing in human resources and business management in Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Asia. His areas of expertise include leadership assessment and development, performance management, succession management and selection best practices.
Fluently bilingual in French and English, Jocelyn holds undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Human Resources, a Master’s Degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and an Executive MBA. He is the author of “Accelerating Leadership Development”, a book focusing on leadership assessment, leadership development, and succession management.
