Proprio Direct has been acquired by Brookfield Global Asset Management some two years ago. Real Property Solutions, Royal LePage Real Estate Services, and Bridgemarq Real Estate Services Manager Limited are the three key lines of business under Brookfield.
Considering that the actual President & CEO and founder will be leaving the Company within the next 12 months, by July 2020 at the latest, Bridgemarq wishes to launch an executive search to find its next President & CEO – Proprio Direct.
Reporting to the President, you are part of the senior management and work with the other members to develop plans to expand the company to new markets across Canada but primarily in Ontario. You maintain and build upon a corporate culture that features a clear vision for the future; a spirit of commitment and trust; effective communication, collaboration and teamwork; one that embraces diversity and inclusiveness; and the ability to adapt to new opportunities and challenges. You act as a spokesperson, including engagement with the public, industry and government regulators. You develop and execute an approved annual operational plan and budget. You lead and where necessary assist in recruiting retaining and motivating brokers. You recruit and engage business partners that will help the company achieve its objectives. You evaluate and introduce new technologies and solutions to ensure the agency remains competitive. You negotiate and execute agreements on behalf of the company.
You will deploy Proprio Direct’s unique proposition across Canada, working “hand in hand” with the Toronto-based senior management team. You will investigate opportunities to grow through diversification and the introduction of new services, as well as potential acquisitions. Marketing, IT and social media will be key to achieve Proprio Direct’s Business Plan and essential to maintain and develop a competitive edge. As it is also a “People Business”, the Company will continue to be as good as its brokers are.
