Mandate

Responsible for the execution of the After-Market Service sales strategy which includes leadership of the sales and applications teams, defining sales strategies, brining in new customer business, cultivating key vendor relationships, and delivering top and bottom-line growth for Enerflex.

Key Accountabilities

Execution of the After-Market Service sales strategy

  • Inclusive of Parts, Service, Retrofit, and Rentals areas of the business
  • Develop, refine, implement, coach, and continuous improvement of the sales strategy
  • Provide sales input to business plans, forecasting, and departmental budgets
  • Liaison to the Enerflex marketing team

Leadership of the sales and applications teams for After-Market Service

  • Support and mentor sales and applications professionals
  • Foster an environment of collaboration in order to provide greater value for stakeholders
  • Quarterback customer opportunities that span multiple departments or regions

Build strategic long term customer partnerships

  • Champion the delivery of legendary customer service
  • Negotiation of master goods and services agreements with support from Enerflex legal
  • Collaboration with the Enerflex Engineered Systems sales team

Engage with key vendor sales leadership to align strategy and represent voice of customer

  • Engage with major OEM sales teams to create and deliver value for After-Market Service customers
  • Participate in annual account planning and review processes
  • Leverage the Enerflex 4×4 strategy

First Year Deliverables / Measures of Success

Success in the first year will be determined by the candidate’s ability to:

  • Successfully integrate into the organization and our culture and start building relationships with the sales and applications teams and more broadly within our service branch network
  • Develop fundamental knowledge of the business, specifically the competitive landscape and our unique value proposition from which to start crafting the sales strategy leveraging input from team mates
  • Active collaborator bringing fresh ideas as part of the After-Market Service Senior Management Team
  • Comfort in the review of contracts and acceptance of purchase orders per Enerflex policies
  • By year end, provide guidance and strategy that will support budgets with increased revenue and market-share growth for After-Market Service

 

Candidate Profile

Education:

  • Undergraduate Degree (preferably in Business, Engineering, Marketing or a discipline which complements the business strategy).

Experience:

  • 8+ years of proven Sales/Business Development, Marketing and or Account Management
  • 5+ years managing and building successful sales teams
  • Proven track record of selling advanced, high-value solutions with the ability to coordinate effectively with internal colleagues for successful project execution within complex corporate environments.
  • Knowledge of the natural gas compression services industry (customers, competitors, OEM’s, etc.)

Competencies and Attributes:

  • Strong existing network in the oil and gas industry
  • Proven leader and change agent; passion for mentoring and developing others.
  • High energy, goal-oriented, collaborative, and customer focused individual.
  • Exceptional organizational, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Experience negotiating terms and conditions for effective business outcomes
  • Strong problem-solving, technical and analytical skills; results oriented; ability to make decisions.
  • Assertive personality with strong communication and relationship management skills.

Working Condition
This role requires approximately 25% travel mostly within Alberta and British Columbia.
