Since 2015, in close collaboration with the Government of Quebec, McGill University has been working on the creation of a new pavilion of 50 000 m2 on the former Royal Victoria hospital site, following the relocation of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) on the Glen site. This major project, which is phased over several years, is intended to be structuring both for the Montreal area and for the historic and natural borough of Mount Royal.
