Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Director of Finance – Broadcast Division will be responsible for managing the operations and human resources of the Broadcast Division’s finance department, supervising the accounts payable team, performing financial analyses (financial reports, performance indicators, correcting discrepancies to increase the profitability of the company’s operations) and analyzing the division’s monthly financial statements.
He will be responsible for the entire budget process, will oversee the implementation of several corporate agreements and will ensure that contracts with partners are respected (music rights and royalties, music content). In addition, he will have to approve quarterly commission calculations, manage the complete financial cycle while overseeing the annual audit with the external auditors and the audit of the tax authorities for his division.
Among his main challenges, the Director of Finance – Broadcast Division will have to exercise inspirational leadership to put in place internal controls, policies and procedures that will improve the effectiveness and accuracy of the division’s financial results and the quality of accounting processes. He will have to promote an organizational culture within his division that is more focused on financial performance, while ensuring proactive and sustained communication based on excellence, efficiency and productivity.
