Director, Experience – Landmark Cinemas of Canada

Job Description:

Following its acquisition by Kinepolis Group NV in December 2017, Landmark Cinemas is seeking to further expand its footprint across Canada and transition from a national to regional operating model. As Canada’s second largest motion picture, theatre exhibition company, the move provides Landmark with further growth opportunities as it looks to take on new-build projects and enhance its customer experience through new offerings.

Landmark has created a new position to be assumed by the Director, Experience in Kitchener/Waterloo, which will work closely with theatres in Eastern Canada to ensure exceptional guest experience, service quality, effective pricing on supply contracts and overall facilities management. Aligning with Landmarks’ plans for growth, the Director will support the Regional Vice President, Operations with accountability for Facilities Maintenance, Theatre Utilities, Special Projects, CAPEX, and general building materials and supplies.

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Accountable to negotiate, manage cleaning contracts and programs
  • Security systems
  • Theatre utilities/energy management
  • Sprinkler & Alarm systems
  • Building automation/controls
  • Facilities Maintenance (supporting/managing small repairs & maintenance)
  • Maintenance CAPEX for smaller projects
  • Managing material and supplies – i.e. light bulbs, paper towel, cleaning supplies
