THE OPPORTUNITY

Job Title: Director, Business Development & Sales

Reports to: COO

Location: Ontario

 

THE MANDATE

BONE Structure is at a critical stage of growth and they are looking to expand their team in Ontario by adding a Director, Business Development & Sales.  The successful candidate will have a strong background in business to business (B2B) sales within the real estate development industry.  They will be leveraging BONE Structure’s one stop shop solution for energy efficient construction technologies, providing scalable tools so developers can respond quickly to the growing demand and regulatory shift toward sustainable construction.  They provide architectural & interior design, engineering, permit process, industrial design, sales & marketing and branding.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop Ontario’s B2B sales strategy
  • Train and mentor Ontario team on B2B sales methodologies
  • Drive sales opportunities leveraging your significant network of Architects, Builders, Developers, City Officials and Real Estate Professionals
  • Qualify and convert leads into sales opportunities for architectural plans and materials contracts
  • Coordinate meetings between clients and various members of the project management team
  • Act as a liaison between the builder and the customer
  • Conduct timely after sales follow-up

 

CANDIDATE PROFILE

The successful candidate will have the following:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration

Experience

  • 10+ years of sales experience within the real estate, construction or custom home building industry

 Competencies and Attributes

  • Energy, motivation, enthusiasm, and integrity
  • Strong interpersonal skills – with the ability to develop good working relationships with colleagues, investors, business partners and clients
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Strong sense of organization, autonomy and versatility
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities at once while meeting deadlines
  • Competitive, motivated, self-starter with a positive winning attitude
  • Bilingualism (English, French) is a plus
