Chief Executive Officer – Prairie Centre Credit Union

THE ORGANIZATION

Prairie Centre Credit Union (PCCU) is a financial cooperative that was born on the prairies for people who want to live, work, and prosper on the prairies.  The goal at Prairie Centre is not about being different, it’s about being relevant to their Members and their communities.  The iconic skies, expanse of the land and changing colours of the seasons keeps their Board, staff team and members captivated and in love with where they call home. Much like the members they serve- determination, grit and passion for the prairies is what helped PCCU grow to a full-service financial institution serving over 15,000 members, managing over $1 billion in assets and employing over 150 people.  The prairie uniqueness requires a banking relationship built on local understanding, knowledge, and product and service excellence.

Of recent, Prairie Centre Credit Union, and LeRoy Credit Union, have announced members of both credit unions voted in favour of the proposed merger, effective January 1, 2022.

With this recent proposed transaction, Prairie Centre Credit Union will be able to offer financial services at 15 branches throughout central Saskatchewan.

Prairie Centre lives where their Members live and supports the communities the PCCU serves. A member-owned financial institution they see it as their responsibility to give back to the communities they serve. PCCU corporate support prioritizes: education, youth, health, arts, culture, sports, and recreation.
