Job Title: Brand Manager

Reports to: Brand Manager / Senior Product Manager

Direct Reports: N/A

Location: Mississauga, Ontario



Morgan Williams International is expanding. The organization is experiencing 20% year over year growth and as such, is seeking a marketing specialist with experience in food distribution, preferably with knowledge of import specialty foods.  A newly created role, the Brand/Product Manager will be accountable for building and implementing disciplined marketing practices and processes that will drive growth and efficiencies in the business.  This individual will bring a proven track record of driving rapid brand growth in a highly entrepreneurial and dynamic environment and experience working with all major Channels – Chain supermarket, Independent Grocery, Ethnic Grocery, Drug, Club, and on-line.



The position will include the following responsibilities:

  • Vendor Management – Responsible for managing a select group of vendors and will act as the primary conduit between those vendors and Morgan Williams
  • Product development
  • Management of retail pricing strategy and execution
  • Promotion and Product Placement in the overall Morgan Williams international “mix”
  • Communications and Issues Management
  • Liaise regularly with Sales management to ensure execution of programs and strategies
  • Market research and planning -understanding of Nielsen and Retailer data indexes
  • Work closely with Assistant Brand Associate in overall development and accomplishment of objectives
  • Digital Marketing expertise with knowledge of all the platforms and how to use them to attract/communicate with the consumer

Assist Marketing Manager with any other duties or responsibilities as may be assigned




The successful candidate will have the following:


  • University Degree in Business or a related field of study


  • A minimum of 4-5+ years’ experience in marketing / brand management in Food Distribution and/or CPG organizations
