Carscallen LLP is a full service law firm that values diversity and fosters a culture of inclusion to attract and retain the best talent and provide the best service locally, nationally and beyond.  Carscallen LLP was founded in 1988 on the premise that Calgarians should be able to count on a law firm that shares their entrepreneurial spirit and knows the unique challenges they face. Carscallen LLP is keenly attuned to the historical and current realities, politics and particulars of Alberta’s business environment and they continue to advance their expertise in a number of traditional and emerging specialization areas.

Carscallen LLP is dedicated to supporting the entrepreneurial spirit on which their great province was built.  Their roots are in oil and gas, which refers not only to the industry, but also to an enduring spirit of dogged determination, hard-won prosperity and boundless optimism tempered by pragmatism.

Carscallen LLP is actively cultivating a team of strategic, dedicated thinkers with the ability and the true desire to give each client the one-on-one care and attention they deserve. They recruit the best and brightest young legal minds, and generously dedicate time and effort to pass on collective knowledge and skills.

Carscallen LLP believes their clients are better served by an independent law firm without the costs and conflicts of interest of a national or international platform and whose primary focus is on the current realities of Alberta business with no obligations to anyone but their clients. They are completely unencumbered in their ability to offer clients expert legal advice that makes the most sense for their businesses, with a focus on service, efficiency and value.
